Dear Texas Marine,
I want to acknowledge the excellence of service before, during and after the sale at Texas Marine. I stopped by to learn more on runabout boats. What an incredible job you did preparing me for boat ownership. David Butler answered all my questions with so much useful information. He also got me thinking about the quality of construction on motors and boats. Texas Marine quickly became my "go to" reference resource for pleasure boating.

David's efforts to find me the best value, for what I needed, resulted in me selecting an 24' Yamaha AR-240. The test drive water experience had me convinced that I wanted a similar twin engine vessel. David made extraordinary efforts to locate an affordable new model with special pricing, which was a deciding factor. Within a short period of time he found me a boat that exceeded my expectations. The deal was smoothly and professionally executed. There was no haggling like we typically expect, when purchasing a car. In short, my boat buying experience was pleasure and not a hassle.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the AFTER sale support, which was magnificent, with the delivery trial. A couple weeks later David installed the anchor I purchased from your store. On my first boat outing David came down to the launch site to make sure my friend and I got underway safely. When I had questions, he had answers. I realized early on that I was not just buying a boat, that I was undertaking a relationship with a boat dealership. I like buying boat accessories and visiting my friends at Texas Marine. I found your Seabrook location and the store in Conroe helpful twice and was very pleased with their service on my trailer and the break-in oil change and routine first service.

I truly believe that his professionalism before and after the sale has provided a very fine start to my new hobby. I am also grateful for the gift of David's friendship. Thank you Texas Marine and David Butler. I will be recommending your company to anyone interested in buying a new or used boat.

I just want you and your company know how great and how much I appreciate this man. We bought a new boat in August and have only had in out 3 times in which case we are still trying to figure out all the bells and whistle. I have called Michael on numerous occasions on his time off because it usually on a Sunday when we are taking the boat out and every time he has answered our questions, however this Sunday was different not only did he answer but he took the time out of his day to come up there and figure out why our boat was not working and helped us get it going. I did not even know he had just gotten off of a cruise ship either. You don't see many salesman that goes out of their way like this for their customers. I can t put into words how happy I am with my BRAND NEW CHAPARRAL. This machine is awesome. Being my first new boat I was very impressed that they took me on a demo to show me how all the operations and we had a blast. I bought a brand new 2012 Skeeter at Texas Marine recently. The price of the boat was highly competitive as I had compared the out-the-door price to two other dealers.
Tra was the star of the show. He is an enthusiastic salesman and very attentative. What really stood out though, was that he went ABOVE AND BEYOND on more than one occasion!!!!! He went out of his way to make sure I was a happy customer, even after I had purchased the boat!! How often do you hear of that???
Texas Marine was also able to get me Power Poles 3 weeks faster than the other dealers, which was the deal maker for me.

I was worried about buying a used boat. I didn't think I would be able to find a place that would be pleasant and that I could trust. I only had $10,000 to spend and figured that woldnot get me much. The used boat guys at Texas Marine were great to work with. They had a clean, polished facility and hte used boat manager was wonderful to work with. I ended up buying a pretty old boat that was perfect for my family. After using it twice, some of my electronics went out. Turned out some of the wiring had corroded. I took it back to the texas marine service shop. they told me that the problem was not their responsibility and I would have to pay for the new wiring. After talking to the service manager and the used boat manager and explaining the situation, they still said it was not their responsibility, but they wanted to help me out, so they ended up paying for most of the service. I am saving up right now for new boat, and when I get the money, I am going back there.


"The Texas Marine service dept. is exceptional and I wanted to brag on how professional and well they treated me. They went way beyond the call of duty to help me with my boat, despite the fact that they are not even a dealer for that brand. I hit something and needed to deal with it immediately. They told me to "COME ON IN!" When I arrived they got right on it. I couldn't have asked for faster service. We had to order items and they did so quickly and efficiently, despite it not being in their list of parts normally serviced. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the courteous and professional manner in which you guys in the service department assisted me. You have earned a loyal customer. Its hard to find businesses with integrity these days but...

In late April / early May time frame, I noticed that your business was advertising a 2001 Ranger Fish and Ski boat on the internet. When I noticed this for sale, I contacted the used boat department and left a message for Bill Windle.

Bill contacted me first thing the next morning and we were able to see the boat and agree on a price the following weekend. Unfortunately for Bill, I am a new boat owner and had countless questions and concerns throughout the boat buying experience.However, in every instance, Bill would follow-up, answer my questions thoroughly, and help me through the boat buying experience. I truly believe his honesty, integrity, and "down-to-earth" nature were an integral reason that I felt comfortable purchasing the boat from Texas Marine.

Our salesperson, Mark Vollmert, was knowledgeable and helpful on our questions about the boat. Even after the sale of the boat, Mark took personal pride in completely satisfying me when I called with Questions.I had a small electrical issue with the boat about a week after the sale. Your Generous donation of a weather station to Martin Dies, Jr. State Park is greatly appreciated. The station is now operating and online. Our campers, boaters and fisherman will utilize the weather station extensively. Hunters on the wildlife management area will also find the information very helpful.

The park staff and local wildlife biologists will use the weather information for flora and fauna studies and controlled burns. This weather information will be invaluable to these studies and management of the resources.

I let him know and thought that I should forward to you that Darin was professional,informative, and didn't use attitude or foul language to make a sales point. I visited 3 other boat dealers prior to my visit with Darin and all were doing me a favor by talking to me, used foul language and were not really interested in educating me on what I needed to know as a first time boat owner. I didn't buy that day but when I do Darin will be my first call. He feature benefited the boat and took the time to show me how the bimini top was installed.       Today I received a "Customer Service Survey" from Yamaha Service in which I was asked several questions regarding the assistance of a Yamaha Service Representative and Texas Marine, my Yamaha dealer. I will certainly respond to the questions contained in this survey but first I would like to talk directly with you and your staff.

Starting in November of last year and continuing through April of this year, we traveled a rocky path regarding the repair of my Yamaha motor. You've had the unenviable task of educating me along with finding and repairing the problem with my motor. Throughout the protracted time that we traveled this path you exhibited proper decorum and good business manners. I, on the other hand, sometimes acted otherwise during this same period. In any event we were able to work through the repair andI'm able to once again take my wife and fishing partner back to the lake to chase the illusive redfish. You are now able to go to your work andnot worry about my problem nor worry about me calling to check on the progress on my motor repair. We are both much better off now!

The purpose of this letter is not to state the obvious. Rather, I want to tell you and your staff what a great job you did in resolving my problem. Even if for whatever reason, you had been unable to effect repairs on my motor, I would still thank you for the way in which you worked with me and attempted to solve the problem.
